Attaches to: the Basic Motorcycle Tool Set (52501), all in one roll.

Pull the coils, turn the oil cap, get both wheels off, including a coil puller built only for a BMW.

What's included

  • Coil and Oil Cap Removal Tool in CNC aluminum, 2-in-1, with a triangle side for the oil filler cap (52463)
  • T50 Torx bit socket, 3/8 inch drive (52548)
  • T55 Torx bit socket, 2 in long, 3/8 inch drive (52258)
  • Stubby T60 Torx bit socket, 3/8 inch drive, which takes the gear lever off most models from 2013 on (52570)
  • Four 2 in long 1/4 inch bits, T9, T15, T25 and a 2mm slotted, for the handlebar switchgear and the air filter (52556)
  • 12mm stubby hex bit socket, 3/8 inch drive, for hex heads with something sitting over them (52537)
  • CNC aluminum hex axle tool, 17, 19, 22 and 24mm, 3/8 inch drive (52257)

  • Taroko 166 ratchet, 3/8 inch drive, 72-tooth, rated to 224 ft-lb (304 Nm) (52451)

  • 600 Den double-layer Tetoron Add-On Pouch that rolls up and attaches to the Basic Set (52528)

MIT: the 17mm spanner carries MIT toothing on its ring side, so one end takes the metric size, its inch (SAE) equivalent and an external Torx head.

Fits

BMW. The coil tool is sized for R1200 and R1250, F650 through F850, HP2 Enduro, K1200 and K1300, R1100 and R1150 with double ignition, and R nineT.

For front and rear axle removal, these models need the 3/8" Dr. Aluminum Socket, 34mm 6-Point.

Après plusieurs semaines d’utilisation, je peux dire que la trousse à outils SBV tient vraiment ses promesses. Compacte, légère (parfaite pour emporter sur la moto), mais surtout ultra bien pensée : chaque outil a sa place, rien ne bouge, même sur les pistes les plus chaotiques.

Les clés plates extra-fines sont un vrai plus pour intervenir dans les zones étroites du moteur ou du châssis. Le cliquet réversible est robuste et précis, et les douilles ne montrent aucun jeu. Mention spéciale aussi pour la qualité des matériaux : l’acier S2 utilisé pour les embouts offre une excellente résistance à l’usure.

Le format enroulable est pratique, facile à ranger dans une sacoche ou un top case. C’est clairement un kit pensé par des motards, pour des motards.

➡️ Un excellent choix pour ceux qui veulent être prêts à intervenir partout, sans s’encombrer.

Really I suppose you get what you pay for at the end of the day, and while the tool kit may be a little expensive it has proven to be a good investment and hasn't failed me yet.
